šŸ—£ļø Reach Out & Connect

10 minutes

What it is

A practice of sharing your experience with someone you trust to remind yourself you're not alone.

When to use it

  • When you're feeling isolated or ashamed
  • When you're stuck in the feeling that "no one else struggles like this"
  • After a setback or rough stretch

How to do it

  1. Choose someone you trust—a friend, coach, hiking partner, religious or spiritual group, or support group. Even just an online search or group can help.
  2. Share a little about what you're going through. You don't need to go into every detail—just enough to be honest and open.
  3. Notice how they respond. Often, people will say "I've felt that too," or offer understanding that reminds you: you're not the only one.
  4. Let that connection sink in. Even just one "me too" moment can ease the weight of isolation.

I don't have to carry this alone.
